Product Vision

Bank of America is an American multinational banking and financial services corporation headquartered in Charlotte, North Carolina. It is the second largest bank holding company in the United States by assets. Although, they have a total asset of $2.186 trillion as of 2016, their customer experience seems to suffer to a greater extent. If the customer service unsatisfactory rate does not improve, this could be discouraging to future investors who want to conduct business with Bank of America.

After conducting market and user research at banks.credio.com; it is determined that this decline in customer service experience is most likely due to account management, communication, credit score reporting, customer service, debt management, fees or billing, loan repayment, and privacy issue.

It is believed that base on user feedback that if customers can easily manage their financial service through mobile app, Bank of America can expand their customer base and market share, overall will increase their customer service rating and customer retention value.
Challenge
Can saving money and being efficient possible? How do we reduce identity theft and fraud? How do we get user to pay more attention to their monthly expenditure to 
save them money?
Outcome
Improvement in visual communication, assist clients in managing their checking account by monitoring monthly net profit/loss through graphical user interface. Moreover, implementing finger authentication will greatly reduce identity theft and fraud.
Design Planning & Mood Board
As always, I needed to some inspiration and idea. The best way for me to improve an existing product is to study and observe existing product myself; moreover, I used Dribbble, Behance, and Pinterest as my inspiration for mockup and design. I was searching for features, ideas, and workflows from competitors alike. There are certain gradient of color and texture that I like to borrow from, but at the same time I still maintain the to the original brand and style guide. Therefore; these mood board help guide me in the right direction.
