Fitst test for a series of stickers/emoji that I was planning to do for the company BeBee.
00. The briefing:
I was contacted by BeBee asking for a series of virtual stickers for their instant message system. The idea was that they looked cartoony, simmilar to the ones for an instant message system like Line or Facebook, but with a badass twist. I was asked for a budget but, being a fun project and not being completely sure of how long it would take me, I started with a preliminary sketch.
01. The idea:
My plan was to take the beBee logo as a base and turn it into stickers, by using the bee's resources (the wings and the antennas) to emphasize the expresiveness. They could work withouth the hexagon in the back, but using them (and painting each in a different color) would allow it to become more corporative and also to get actually printed in order to make a hive full of different bees.

Of course, this design could have varied had I more information from the client. We didn't even get to make a propper interview or a full briefing, I should have tried to talk more deeply about it. This is just a preliminary sketch in order to test what they wanted and how long it would take me to do it.
02. Client response:
I didn't hear from them again, I tried once more but it didn't work. Maybe they canceled the project, but I wanted to showcase it anyway because it seemed like a fun idea to me and a project that was giving good results, and if anyone is looking for jobs along this line I'd love them to know that I can do them and enjoy it.
Thank you!
