In honor of Valentine's Day, I've been thinking a lot about love.

 

Our traditional representation of love is the heart. But that doesn't really say much about what love really means, or how it works. I think we can do better.

 

I based this symbol off of the infinity symbol to convey the timelessness of love. It can also be seen as two circles which have joined together to form one continuous whole. Finally, the two circles form a ring which creates a new layer of depth which couldn't have been present with the individual circles.
