Showing the visual connections between Boston and it's sister city Kyoto, Japan, each kimono was designed and painted with patterns and motifs which tie the two together.
Originally on view on Boston Common as an installation for First Night Boston 2010,
later put on display in Quincy Market, Downtown Boston.
