The owner of On The Go Concierge asked for my services to create a logo that would reflect her company’s values. It’s a personal concierge service that serves both residential and business clients in Saratoga County. Some services include personal shopping, general errands, pet sitting, catering, meal delivery, and event planning. The unique nature of this business inspired me to create a logo which indicates movement and an approachable professionalism. The multiple hats worn by a concierge all needed to be expressed in a single unifying logo. A logo needs to express the story and personality of services rendered. The client requested that teal be incorporated into the logo, and from there I began to sketch, considering how to express both efficiency and professionalism while balancing an ever changing schedule. The logo also had to be applicable beyond print and paper, in both landscape and portrait. Hats and backpacks were embroidered, pens and tee shirts printed, and posters and other paper materials. In order to achieve this I chose a chic yet classy typeface with good readability, which married well with the logo. The logo itself incorporates bold shapes without losing its sense of motion.
