These cards capture the ephemeral: things that are transient or quickly go away.
It is Art Nouveau influenced: it is based around the late 1800s-early 1900s.
The people are travelers, circus folk, people who dabble in what was not culturally accepted at the time.
The poppies frame each piece because once picked, the petals fall down instantly.
Nothing is permanent.
