In 2011, the Office of the National Coordinator made a large investement in health care information technology. In this particular case, electronic medical records were the focus of their push. We crafted a campaign that centered around a human element – the personal stories of real individuals whose lives had been affected positively because of their ability to quickly access their electronic medical records. A secondary effort was tied into HIPAA awareness through the Office for Civil Rights, which we did a site redesign for.
