Fresh Choice Market

Fresh Choice Market was a restaurant in which we only received a name as a starting point. This is my (and three other group members) first exploration into communication design. The final deliverable was a full graphic standards book. We were given only a name and short background to start from. The background being that Bobby Flay & Gunnar Peterson wanted to create a fresh, healthly alternative to fast food for working professionals. The restaurant would be situated in Grand Rapids. From there we jumped in.

Some things we needed to create for the project include: a floorplan, signage, icons, typeface and color standards, and photography. All of these would be put into a graphic standards deliverable.

This is the final product of many evening group meetings in the lab. I took the task of creating the layout of the final book.
Moodboard for our project. We took some best practices to get an idea of what our restaurant would be like if it was more than just a concept. Places like the Apple store, whole foods, and organic spaces served as inspiration.
Our various user personas were created to fit the background of the restaurant and who would be most likely to be dining there.
