“Make Me Superstitious“ was born to explore the historically close relationship between human beings and amulets, objects thought to be endowed with magical qualities, the possession of which would grant protection against negative energies or entities. Through the research and analysis of their function, origins and history, the project aims to to show how, even coming from very different parts of the world their symbolism travelled through time and countries to develop the same meaning, common to many different cultures.
