ANIMAL DISSECTION MANUAL
Realistic anatomical illustrations of several domestic animal species
for a dissection manual targeted at veterinarians and vet students.
My goal was to elevate the quality of veterinary anatomical drawings to similar standards as in Human Medicine,
trying to develop a product that had not been seen before.
Working in a grayscale color scheme, it was crucial to give the organs their characteristic textures and play with light to come up with the best discrimination possible between the different structures.
The manual can be purchased here.
/ Anatomy of a Chelonian (Turtle)
The curious thing about turtles is that they do not possess a diaphragm.
Therefore it all ends up looking like a bunch of noodles lost in a funny-looking bowl.
/ Anatomy of a Canid (Domestic dog)
/ Anatomy of a Rodent (Lab Mouse)
/ Anatomy of a Salmonid (Trout)
/ Dissection of a Bird (Chicken)
