Then I was young and unafraid
And dreams were made and used and wasted
There was no ransom to be paid No song unsung,
no wine untasted
But the tigers come at night With their voices soft
as thunder As they tear your hope apart
As they turn your dream to shame
(I Dreamed a Dream - Les Miserables 2013 Sankdakota)
People may have bad dreams from time to time, but I think nobody has a bad dream forever. Dreams, whether they are good, bad or enchanted, are all but parts of a long journey. Some of the paintings here were inspired by fables that I used to read every day. I also used everyday objects as sources of inspirations for designing strange creatures that you can see in the paintings. Furthermore, I also developed painting techniques that allow the hidden messages within each story to express itself. I believe that fables are more than just dreams or made-up stories. There are messages, themes and depths hidden in there as well.
The meaning of some objects change depending on its context. Therefore, it may not be easy to describe the true meaning of what you see before your eyes.
