The brief we were given was to design the branding and an app for the smart contact lens company 'Metalens'. Google X are currently developing contact lenses which can measure things such as blood glucose levels, heart rate and oxygen levels through the testing of tears.
The concept for my app was to help anxiety sufferers to monitor and control their stress levels in everyday situations.
I designed the logo to represent how someones stress levels can change throughout the day and how an anxiety sufferer could feel stuck in a constant cycle of this. I used the colour blue because it is percieved as a calming colour and the idea behind my app is to help people stay calm and stress free for longer.
As well as designing some screens to represent the pages of the app, I also designed an animartion using After Effects to show how the user experience of the app would work.
Some of the key aspects of my app include: the measuring of heart rate, blood pressure, breathing rate, hormones and headaches;
a situation analysis page which can use the current measurments to calculate how stressful the current situation is for the user;
and a stat history page where the user can view all their past measurements and situations.
