Roam if you Must is a giclée print on BFK Rives Printmaking rag paper, 100lb / 280gsm weight, 100% cotton paper, printed by Two Crowes Printing. This was an experiment with hand drawn type, paying homage to traveling, exploring and giving something new a shot! I started this process with pencil and paper, then scanned the sketch into illustrator and followed up with a whole lot of mouse clicking!
Below you will see the design implemented onto a snowboard. Originally this was just an art print, but I wanted to expand on that and push the design further. First of all, a snowboard is a great way to explore, to travel...to me that is the general premise of this quote. Secondly, it let me play with the design some more, flipping it on its side, breaking apart the trees, allowing the mountain to break some boarders and finally giving the hawks a larger impact than on the art print.
