Beekeeping is not only a profession - it's a lifestyle. It can only be mastered with lots of hard work and patience. The only way to learn it is trough practice. That's why I designed a special apiary complex. Here, not only the young beekeepers can learn from the more experienced - the complex can be used to educate the public about apiary products, beekeeping, and the importance of bees.
The building is situated at an old, long-abandoned farm in Eastern Hungary. The two remaining houses can be used as accomodation for students, tourists, or workers.
The building is separated into four smaller units, connected by a single roof structure. On the north end, there is a community/teaching unit; in the middle a gift shop and dressing rooms, as well as a maintenance workshop; on the south end is the unit where the honey is processed and packed.
