The Courtyard on Sober Lane

An ambitious renovation of The Courtyard of The Flying Enterprise, opening onto Sober Lane is what prompted the proprietors to contact me to rebrand. Excited to style the new and mostly outdoor venture as something apart form The flying Enterprise, the following is a loose synopsis of the last two years of The Courtyard on Sober Lane.
The very first piece I produced for the client was targeted at a lunchtime a casual crowd from the neighbouring business district. The concept of "Let's" was to be ubiquitous in radio ads, print and social media over the following eight months as the business established itself. Let's Meet and Let's Eat were the two rallying cries of the fledgeling business.
As menus were developed and an outdoor Italian Pizza Oven was fired up, our ads took on more of a flavour. Al Fresco food, pizza, pasta, burgers, family and group-friendly. a massive, heated verandah and beer garden.
A mockup for the initial round of print ads in the vicinity of The Courtyard on Sober Lane.

This was my absolute favourite part of the project. the opportunity to work with a traditional Sign Painter. I designed the gate sign and Anthony Loughry executed it beautifully.
