    Off Season 6A is a collection of images that where taken in Cape Cod, Massachusetts on February 6, 2015, the day after a snow storm dropped a foot of snow. Cape Cod’s population grows 500% in the summer, as most of the people who are there are only tourists. I wanted to capture Cape Cod in its offseason, in a way that most never see it, and to embrace the emptiness and highlight the lack of human interaction with the environment. Many of the images show places that were built only to be inhabited in the summer months, and are left empty and abandoned in the winter. All the buildings and landscape have a air of neglect and disrepair, only to be fixed back new in a few months. The landscapes are untouched; a mixture of snow and sand that hasn’t seen a footprint for months. I wanted to capture what it was like wandering around and not seeing a human for hours, traveling along what would be the busy summertime scenic route of Cape Cod 6A, from Sandwich to Provincetown, Massachusetts.
