To the untrained eye, Jonathan “Jack” Smith is run-of-the-mill IT support serving in our nation’s capitol. But, in the world of DC politics and its seedy social underbelly, Jack is the friend everyone wants to have and nobody wants to piss off. A master lock-pick, recovering narcotics addict, and criminal mastermind, Jack makes his way in the world working alongside P.I. Gordon “Gordy” Monroe, and his best friend, master hacker, Quinn, doing all the things a registered PI can’t legally do. However, Jack’s talents have put him on the radar of some mysterious strangers and he finds himself pursued by a mysterious hooded figure who has no problem pulling a trigger to make a point. Jack must now learn to cope when he’s bound to this terrifying organization with an unsettling agenda and the power to destroy Jack’s life – and far more.
