This was an epic undertaking for UWA crafted fully from scratch.. The budget was tight and largely used towards filming around the world so there was no money for a sound recordist. After several early meetings to discuss Sound Design I realised I would have to loan the Art Director some recording gear and just have him capture wild audio when possible.  This was needed to help recreate the feel of the different spaces around the world. The second challenge we had was to work with UWA music students to create the music score. Our composer worked with them as much as possible before we realised we had to create it ourselves with the help of the students to fully achieve the feel we were after.
