I was asked by a Personal Trainer friend to help out with his logo design as was trying to create it on a free logo generator site, but couldn't get it exactly how he envisaged. I had a chat with him about what exactly he was looking for and offered to help out.
The new venture for Darren was to have his own branding for his bootcamps and other physical training programmes and had chosen the name "Summit Outdoors Fitness". His logo design he wanted was a very basic image that depicted the outdoors and hills/mountains as this combined his hobbies and services. Darren's vision was hill/mountain tops, in one or two colours, that would be simple yet look good on any branding, stationary and clothing.
The only area Darren wasn't sure of was how he would like the font to look - this was down to me.
As this logo was required within 48 hours, I stuck with the first "mountain" shape I had shown Darren as he was very happy with it and advised this was exactly what he wanted. He asked me to stick with this style, but could he see it in an array of colours that would work on black t-shirts preferably, but would also work on white if needed to split bootcamps into coloured co-ordinated teams.
The red was the chosen colour...now to the fonts! (we also decided "Summit Outdoor Fitness" sounded better!)
All of the fonts were shown to Darren, and he decided on the below design, which is now used on social media and stationary for "Summit Outdoor Fitness"
