I'm In This For Me Campaign

Prince George’s County needed a new campaign to help prevent alcohol and drug abuse among their youth. They wanted a platform that empowered teens to effect change and an event that would entice them to attend. Posters were developed for schools and community centers along with fact sheets to distribute to parents and community leader to keep everyone informed on how to communicate with teens about drugs.
To get teens involved in this new campaign we developed a rap contest with prizes like iPads, headphones, cash and professional studio time to record their winning song and have it developed into a music video. The contest resulted in well produced songs and videos that were distributed for further education efforts by the county. A website was created so it was easy for teens to enter the contest and also served as a space to post the entries, winners, and the final music video.
Along with everything else web ads, posters, t-shirts, totes, cds, headphones, and a music video were created and. The t-shirts were especially popular as they reacted to sound animating the “I’m In This For Me” logo.
