I created a set of three accordion folds each with three pop-ups as my medium of exploring the relationships of langauge and space—how our perspective of the world is influenced by how we communicate and our experiences and how language develops as a reaction from the environment. These are just my thoughts put on and cut out of paper.

These first folds center around ideas of home, place, transience, and status.
Home, 48"*10"
In this second string, I tried to convey ideas of possession, power, and relative utopia.
Utopia, 48"*10"
My third accordion attempts to break simple shape—triangle, circle, square—into inherent language (at least my personal connotations).
Geometry, 48"*10"
Thank you for your time.
