Compassion International is a child-advocacy ministry that pairs compassionate people with those who are suffering from poverty. The ministry releases children from spiritual, economic, social, and physical poverty. The goal is for each child to become a responsible and fulfilled adult.
I work with them for a couple of months and I made some designs for their needs. They have very strict rules to follow when it comes to design, since they are a global organization, they have their image well-positioned and every detail from their typography, to the backgrounds, is already stablished.
The first five images are for three Flash presentations I made about Guatemala, they played them everytime they people from all over the world came to Guatemala to become sponsors for a child.
When a child gets a sponsor, they send each other letters about 3 or 4 times a year telling each other about themselves and they send pictures, money, gifts, and many other things. This is a poster with all the guidelines the staff at each center has to follow in order to send the letters.
They make a lot of printed material and they needed characters to use in their different art pieces. I made the Compassion Kids, each belonging to different ethnic groups in Guatemala. I made a graphic standard manual for them to know how to use them. Here is a sample.
