After observing surgeries at University Hospital in Cleveland, OH, the project goal was to create a patient education piece on a surgical procedure. For this project the chosen surgery was a laparoscopic Ilocolic resection with anastomosis for a patient who had Chron’s disease. The process of the surgery had to be depicted clearly and accurately while also being appropriate for a patient to view.
