Building Creativity: One Brick At A Time
Objective:
Choose a company’s annual/CSR report and redesign it, while keeping the brand true to its purpose. The outcome of this project is to learn how to harvest information and create typography, charts, table and generate a complex visual system.
Strategy:
The LEGO group is known for being creative and colorful and for the manufacture of interlocking plastic bricks, which is comically know for being painful if one steps on. However, many are not aware of LEGO’s responsible mission to bring gender equality and building a better future for kids. That being said, I chose to use the idea of the “brick” & “LEGO uilders” as a theme: Building one brick at a time. As well as a duotone palette to emphasize sustainability and a geometric typeface.
