Come to think of it, it seems that they have never been masters. Always, where I was, they were part of the landscape, a sympathizer when I shed tears, and an accomplice when I laughed.
They burrowed into my emptiness with warmth, and welcomed me on a cold day when I was returning to a home where no one was waiting for me.
To some they might have been a consolation for the wounds of people whom we must encounter without precautions if we go out the door. Ah... My constant companion, the Puppyrus Series, is a reflection of myself who realized this fact very late, and a tribute to them who approached me with a tacit and considerate comfort. As I myself experienced surviving them, perhaps I wanted to revive the warmth of those who played the supporting roles brilliantly in my life through my work called “Paper Art.” Wishing to communicate with people who cherish memories similar to mine from the depth of my heart, I hope that they will become a brilliant landscape and silent consolation to someone.
And I hope that we can confirm our brilliant life together with them.

PAPYRUS. It is a paper-like writing material of ancient Egypt and known as the first paper. It is the origin of paper. Papyrus is made from the stem of the papyrus plant. It was used for many kinds of documents, such as prayers, literature, illustrations and drawings.
