Old Pride New Glory is a 2 minutes animated short we are currently working on for a class in University.
We are 3 students working on it : Etienne Mailhot, Pierre-Alexandre Gros-Louis Bruyère and me, Patrick Blanchette.

Synopsis : A life on terrible choices, impulsion and debauchery, this is the story told by the many tatoos on old Larry's body. As he lays on the table, ready to get another one, All these pieces of art become alive and begin arguing with each other trying to guess what it will be. An argument erupt between Devil, his most recent tatoo and Jerry his oldest one. Devil wants another in the same style as himself. Believing he is supperior to all the others, he humoriously goes through every bad decisions Larry ever made : the name of an ex, a chinese tatoo that doesn't mean the right thing, "Damaged" written on his forehead, etc. Jerry, insist that all tatoos have have their story and value. The confrontation ramps up, leading to Jerry asking Devil : Do you even know what your story will be ? At that moment, the tatoo artist says : "Alright I'll cover it up". We then cut to an image of the final tatoo in which the Devil is now repurpose as a rattle which is holded by a huge baby that takes up the whole back with the text "New Dad" underneath.
