I was asked by Inditex, the biggest fashion group in the world, to create a cover and a couple of illustrations for a December/New Year issue of their IN magazine (printed in 12 languages, for 140.000 employees all over the world).
Inditex wanted to use minimalism as a message and a game for the reader.
The goal would be to reflect on what is important for the company along 2016.
'At Inditex, we are all equally important and valuable. That is why equal opportunities, which include gender, origin, profile, education and experience, have always been a fundamental part of our company’s philosophy.'
‘For & from’, ‘Salta’ or ‘Jeune’ are the projects that reflect our group’s commitment to integrating those with fewer opportunities due to their diversity, or the difficulties they have been through. We can all contribute and we all count. We all have something to offer and together we represent the heart of this company.'
'The stores are Inditex’s finest showcase, and there is no better space in which to reflect our commitment to the environment. For this reason our goal is to make all our stores eco-efficient by 2020. Today, over half are already operating in accordance with the strictest criteria to guarantee environmental sustainability.'
'We have decided that the best way to close the circle in our product’s life cycle is to give them a new lease of life. This is the spirit behind a project that is getting bigger and bigger, giving us the chance to reuse or recycle garments and help protect the environment at the same time.'
'All stores would like to be able to spend more time advising and helping their customers, without the distractions of other tasks. So what if some routine but very necessary tasks suddenly became easier, faster and more effective? And what if that also enabled us to dedicate more time to our customers and offer them even better service?'
