Póster criado com o propósito de publicitar um tipógrafo e as suas principais criações. Cada aluno teria de escolher um designer tipográfico, investigar sobre o trabalho que este realizou e as características que o distingue de outros. O design deve ilustrar as qualidades formais das letras, fazendo referência ao seu contexto histórico e evocando o carácter do seu design.
Escolhi o tipógrafo Morris Fuller Benton. As tipografias escolhidas foram a “AFT”, a Franklin Gothic e a Broadway.
A ideia de transmitir o estilo Americano, foi feita através do uso de elementos geométricos, algo que nos remete para Nova Iorque. O fundo é branco sujo, o que traz a ideia de vintage. O azul-escuro, quase preto, é utilizado de forma a transmitir a elegância das fontes e o vermelho é utilizado de forma a chamar a atenção para os pontos estratégicos, com forma triangular, de forma a equilibrar os destaques do cartaz.

Poster created in order to advertise a typographer and its main creations. Each student should have to choose a typeface designer, investigate the work that he has done and the characteristics that distinguishes him from others. The design should illustrate the formal qualities of the letters, referring to its historical context and evoking the character of the design.
I chose the typographer Morris Fuller Benton. The typographies chosen were "AFT", the Franklin Gothic and the Broadway.
The idea was to transmit the American style, through the use of geometric elements, something that takes us to New York. The background is off-white, which brings some vintage idea. The dark blue, almost black, is used to convey the elegance of the fonts and the red is used in order to draw attention to the strategic points, with triangular shape, in order to balance the poster highlights.
