I tried to render a video I´ve done on Cinema 4D on my MacBook Air 11inch. It turned out, that the rendertime would be wayyyyy beyond what I expected, so I tried to figure out a way, the animation could be rendered in an much smaller amount of time on the same device, just for fun.
I tried different things but the most efficent way to accomplish this task, was to render a still image of the background and overlay an video, which contains only the moving objects and an transparent backround.
In a normal render, the complete enviroment would be calculated every frame. Altough the enviroment is the same in every frame of the video!
The render was about 500x faster than normal and the result is pretty good, I think.
P.S I couldnt figure out a way of export a transparent video of the shadows the vehicles are casting on the background. Those are the only things missing in this video.
