The gyre of trash and debris that has collected in the Pacific Ocean poses many threats to marine life and ecosystems.  The synthetic island is large in size that it is becoming unmanagable by people while more and more animals in that area face the dangers it poses.  This informational poster spreads awareness of the problem at large.
