Slow Dough
-
Slow Dough’s founders come from a long line of exceptional bakers, five generations in fact. They approached us in need of a brand refresh as they positioned themselves for a larger market. We began by developing an approachable identity system that hints at their heritage, while remaining modern. It is both playful and iconic.

A Highly Visible, Memorable Brand
-
Slow Dough is committed to making the best bread available daily. We wanted to convey the passion they put into their product throughout the brand rollout. With a growing restaurant and grocery store base, Slow Dough was becoming more visible. We created a brand that was memorable whether seen on a delivery truck or on a bag of bread in a store.

Recognizable Bread Packaging
-
Slow Dough bakes a wide variety of breads. We needed a way to distinguish the breads from each other while remaining congruent as a whole and unmistakably 'Slow Dough' from across the grocery store. The bread itself is the focal point of the bag design and serves as the backdrop to the logo.

A Website For Customers & Distributors
-
Slow Dough needed a website that appeals to individual retail customers buying a single loaf as well as distributors, like restaurants and grocery stores, buying dozens of loaves at a time. The website is informative to both audiences and intuitive to navigate regardless of the browsing device.

Bake Shop Build Out
-
We also consulted on the interior buildout of their bake shop, which is located inside of Weights & Measures, a restaurant in Midtown Houston. Depending on the time of day, patrons can watch pastries and pizza dough being prepared in a glass room just inside the restaurant.
