MÉWÓ means heart in Bribri, it is a costa rican aboriginal language. This proyect aims to design physical and perceptual interfaces of a portable system that enables to mesure the cardiovascular signs, especialized in elderly people with cardio problems.

In order to achieve design appropriate physical interfaces of a device like this (which is like a medical assistant),  was necesary to follow a design strategy intended for the user, determining the necessary incentives to reduce cognitive load.  And propose a solution to the lack of measuring and monitoring devices for elderly cardiac patients.
