THE INCREDIBLE HULL
To commemorate the exhibition Bright Fields: The Mastery of Marie Hull at the Mississippi Museum of Art, I created six block illustrations exploring different unique events in the life of Mississippi artist Marie Hull. The illustrations were used by the Museum in marketing and education materials.

4. Traveling across America with her husband during the Depression in a Model T. She sold art along the way to pay for the trip.

6. Hull painted and taught all her life, even into old age at a Nursing home back in Jackson.
