Paynes Prairie Poster
Student Project
Looking out over Paynes Prairie, the eye is treated to a view of many layers of color. This poster captures those layers and creates an airy landscape. It started as a watercolor that was cut into strips. The strips were layered then photographed with light diffusing through them. Text was added to create a horizon. It captures the beauty and softness of a place that a lot of people in central Florida don’t realize exists, right in their backyard.
