In 2013 Sarfati, a distributor of natural wines ("winemaker-made wines") opened a quality Italian Restaurant and Wine Shop in Munich, to offer territorial cuisine with carefully selected ingredients and the best natural wines.
He initially asked me to design the sign, using the logo from the distribution activity. To contain costs, I chose to mantain the pre-existing metal sign, making its rusty color the base for the new branding, and to pick matching colours for the illustrations. Afterwards I was ask to design a new logo, only for the restaurant. It had to reflect the character of the place-to-be: simple, elegant, friendly but not related to the usual natural imagery.
