School life gives us a sense of who we are: comradery, achievement and ownership. School life helps us in feeling as part of a community that shares common interests and goals. How can we share those interestes with other departments? Is there a way to collaborate with a department on a specific project? How can we provide feedback and/or view other student work?
A strong communicative flow can be a powerful tool to inspire people, and empower designers to be projects’ promoters. Networking becomes therefore essential to create new opportunities within Carroll. e creative process, which can be summarized as ‘Learn, do and share’, acquires therefore also a social dimension as a tool to connect designers with stringent issues in our ever growing society both socially and technologically.
The aim of the TOGETHER project is to foster connections, and innovation by: filming creative processes, showing inspirational works, creating opportunities between departments, thinking up workshops, documenting them, viewing other student work, and working on collaborative projects. Creating a buzz by meeting people and sharing services through design is paramount. We want to create a new fresh approach of how designers are working, how creative collaborations can happen and how projects are developed and hence a creative community can be formed. Don’t we want to be organized individuals, creative people, individuals with excellent communication skills, problem solving abilities, people interested in design. We can achieve anything!
This project focused on the process of UX Design from start to finish and looked into foundations for designing online user experiences. This process included requirements workshops, ideation workshops, outlining, sketching information architecture, wireframing, etc. We layed out an option of a website and also created a promotional video for the project.
