URBAN DEVELOPMENT 

The focus of this project was to design an urban housing complex for the Saltillo Plaza district in Austin, Texas, while taking into account the current demographic and infrastructure. This project, a community for local bikers, is characterized by full bike accessibility and storage on each level, as well as a bike lane that runs through the center of the two two-story buildings. A multi-level bike storage center is located at the street corner for public and tenant use, as well as a wide ramp, leading to the second level. A bridge connecting the two structures looks down into the central courtyard. Both a café and a bicycle shop are located in the two central zones of each building, inviting the public into the space. This design focuses on a design for a community of those who  praise of zero emission transportation and physical activity.
