Embrace the Wild & Milope's Feather Veil

Milope’s feather veil

Feathers have always been important. They appeared every time a change of direction occurred in the path of life. That’s what happened to Milope and her grandmother.
It’s been long since Milope had embarked on hey way away from Grandma’s little cottage, full of notebooks filled of knowledge and wonderful feathers perfectly sheltered.

Today, Milope carries her own notebook, attentive for the Old Owl’s appearance, guardian of the feathers that light the way through her life, the same ones she must return in the end to the Wind Lord so she could finally return with Grandma.
Each feather Milope found, should be reproduced exactly in her notebook and then be sewed with great care.
That’s the way she did it until one day the Old Owl reached the end of his life, letting go the last feather, destroying with it everything Milope ever knew.
Immerse in pain, she fainted on the ground. When she finally woke up and tried to get up, her legs had already turned into stone. A great storm began to fall, worsening every attempt Milope did to free herself.
The wind was blowing with such strength that the last feather of the notebook got loose. In that exact moment, everything fell into a great silence and the feather started to fly through each page of the notebook, showing Milope the wonderful life she had lived until that day.
The more she looked, the more trapped her legs got. Desperation made her throw herself to snatch the feather away to stop the pain, and when she detached it completely, it flew with great strength pulling her up leading the feather to explode into million bits of light.
This twitch made the rock that trapped her legs more loose. Feeling confused, Milope reached for another feather, and grabbing by accident two of them, provoked a huge force that pulled her out the rock, leaving her legs behind.
The two feathers that she took were now part of her hands. When she realized this, everything made perfect sense.
With a great burst of light, all the remaining feathers lifted into the air, and Milope understood that the feathers were not only signs in her life, they were tools to help her fly. With great strength, she took every feather to create a veil that made her rise into the sky. In that precise instant, the Wind Lord appeared before her, and bowing, he presented Milope a wonderful new path for her to follow. A path she lived with great wisdom until the day she got back to Grandma.
