Thebrief required the construction of a luxury apartments complex and theheadquarters for the foundation that finances the project. The buildings are placed in such a way that all the existingtrees are preserved. The facades are covered with plants as a camouflagestrategy that conceals them behind the trees and give to the interior of theapartments the sensation of living on the treetops. All the parking and service areas are located below thebuildings to maximize the porosity of the soil and to avoid any visualobstruction on the ground level which becomes a continuous garden from theaccess on to the back of the plot. The ground level apartments are protectedwith a “land fold” covered with bushes that warrants their privacy and allowsthem to enjoy of a 2152 sq. ft. (200sq mts) private patio that surrounds them. The rooftops are covered with a wooden deck that fades outto the vegetation of the facades. In these roof gardens the inhabitants of theapartments can have gatherings, meals, parties or enjoy the views of thegardens and the surroundings. The complex haves an amenities building that includes aworkout area, a swimming pool, a ballroom and a cafeteria and is surrounded byponds and the different sceneries of the gardens.
