AetherCraft is a brand by fashion designer Uenki, featuring hand-crafted accessories inspired by fantasy and video games.
The goal was to create an identity and name that was contemporary yet fantastic. Crystals were requested as the primary motif because of its neutrality and how it alluded to fantasy and ancient mythology. And though video games are an important point of inspiration for Uenki's work, it was also important to not let the brand be defined by it: A balance had to be struck between fantasy in video games, and fantasy in general.
Working closely with the client, we arrived at AetherCraft: It is imagined that every piece created under AetherCraft has a story, a slice of imagination stored within, forged with a little magic from the aether — fantasy brought to life through handcrafting.
