I divided a segment of Washington Square Park into a grid of 36 and wrote about each first person that crossed each square. On 4 separate occasions, I sat there, documenting the world around me. \I then picked 1 “thing” (mostly saved from my computer) that I could associate with them, or at least the memory of them after they passed by, and then designed and coded a website to post them on.

This project isn’t about accurately depicting people; it is about how I, (along with most people), project ideas onto others. We will always see things the way we want to see them. People undoubtedly have more than just one “thing” to them, but everything we know is translated through the lens of our own life's experiences.
