    I was approached by Factory311 to create a 3d version of a portrait of Michelle Williams in the role of Marilyn Monroe. The whole piece is created with projection mapping techniques. It's best explained like you project a photo on a white shape which is the same as the subject of the photograph. The job was initially meant to be part of the campaign for the movie "My week with Marilyn". I went through a lot of versions, I even have a version with facial animation, this however did not work because it felt to unnatural. It was very difficult to get the piece as subtle as it is now.
