CALENDAR
CHALLENGE:
Create an interactive calendar. Able to use any materials in anyway possible. Thinking about form and function. Can this calendar function well with the materials it’s made with.
SOLUTION:
When I worked on lathes and mills in a manufacturing plant. I wanted to use the resources available to me through this shop to create an interesting calendar. Using a circular form for the days in a month and gear shapes to place the months and days. Magnets allow you to change them daily as the year progresses.
