Swarovski "Sea of sparkle" light installation

Immersive installation is a closed space - a rectangular area, which does not get extraneous light. Several transparent water filled reservoirs with sound equipment and a special lighting system placed over the spectators. In the niches of the tanks are “wave generators” – servomotors, creating rhythmic vibrations of the water, simulating tidal waves, ripples, “rain” and so on.  The walls and floor of the installation realized in contrasting color and / or monochrome projection from the water surface, a kind of veiled wavy distortion. Total space immersed in light-color effects.

The intensity and nature of the oscillations can change the dynamics of effects.  When injected into the space of the installation, the visitor finds himself in an environment saturated with dynamic reflexes. The easiest way it can be described is as a flare at the bottom of the pool on a sunny day, or reflective sunlight effects, appearing inside the arches of the coastal caves. This study uses 12 independent light sources, which leads to a complex interaction of caustic effects. Spectators traveling inside the space of work, throw multiple dynamic shadows and add means to artistic expression.

This immersive space was used to present the new collection of Swarovski jewelry “Sea of sparkle”.
