Part of Studio 4, I was asked to design a Kindergarten in Suburban Kanata, Ottawa. Keeping in mind the scale of the child, I opted to create a single story structure with exciting skylights. The skylights are present in the public library, as well as the entrance vestibule. The overall roof structure is designed to mimic wooden blocks stacked in a random fashion, keeping the  building fun and playful.
