1. The first step that I took was drawing out the shapes of rips in fabric, and I colored white over the pieces folded over with a opacity of about 50% to show up over any color.

2. I sketched out all everything that would be seen throw the rips making sure it was clean and visible.

3. The base colors were then put down so that I'd be able to tell everything apart and not get confused with the overlapping lines.

4. Everything was then colored in along with a few highlights and extra shadows.
