With these reclaimed one-offs, the depth of the piece comes from the story. The face for this clock came off of a derelict combine harvester, not too far from the house that I grew up in. It dates back from a time when the surrounding area was all farmland, instead of shopping malls, highways, and housing developments. It's finished in beeswax from my family's bees, as is the walnut centercap. The hands are of my own design, waterjet cut out of brass.
