Approached by Frontiera Real Estate, the aim was to create a marketing suite, consisting of branding and a promotional brochure for their prestigious residential project, based in Windsor, England.
The goal was to create a brand that promoted the idea of luxury, as well as communicating a strong Enlgish feel. In the earlier stages of the project a more earthy palette was explored, using deep, earthy browns and autumn tones, providing a visual link to tweed, traditional english leather, Burberry etc; This was replaced with a more neutral colour scheme as the project progressed, the final palette of gold and charcoal was deemed more luxurious and offered a more neutral scheme, allowing for wider marketing application.
The identity is a fairly simple outcome, taking the initial letter 'V' and stylising it, removing the serifs and repeating and rotating it to create a Union Jack motif, reflecting the strong British theme that was requested. This was, from the outset, intended to be foil blocked in gold to emphasise the notion of luxury. This approach and colour palette was carried across throughout the brochure, implementing foil blocking where possible and utilising a gold, metallic fly sheet of paper to act as an intro and outro to the brochure content, 'enveloping the project in luxury'.
