Commission work for the documentary I am Not Here, directed by Award-winning, Oscar-nominated director Ashwin Kumar, who I had worked with earlier on another one of his films – Inshallah Football.

 

I am Not Here tells the story of undocumented migrant domestic workers who leave their countries in search of work, security and to provide for their families back home. The film speaks for human rights issues concerning the migrants who undergo perilous journeys, risking death, deportation, arrest, physical and sexual abuse in the hope of finding dignity.
