Exhibition Posters: Design in the 20th Century and Beyond
These posters represent two notable graphic designs from the 20th or 21st centuries. The task was to incorporate various pieces of information about the exhibition while successfully communicating a style which does not oppose the sensibilities of the two designers.
To begin, we researched about our two notable graphic designers and wrote about their lives and contributions to the arts. Once we accomplish this, we summarized this into the paragraph seen on each poster. This information was used to assist in naming the exhibitions as well in many cases, as well as choosing what imagery of the artists and their art should be used.
The posters seen here are the final product, after multiple rounds of iterations in which we previously explored different color schemes and layouts.
